Variete is a project run by Familija, an organisation that gathers musicians, actors and artists. It came to life as an answer to Ljubljana’s lack of cabaret space. Variete found it’s home in Hotel Union’s Kavarna, which has a rich theatre history. Their goals are not financially motivated, but rather to make Kavarna one of centers for urban culture.
